How to force TurboTax to take state efile payment and not always give the "Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag Please try again or check back in a bit." error

For many weeks TurboTax Home & Business Desktop 2023 always gives the bogus error of:

Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag
Please try again or check back in a bit.

when trying to do state efile (after log-in, when Intuit wants to charge the extra $25 for state efile).

Is there any way to force Intuit to provide the CC payment form, or a URL where I can do so online myself and not in the TT program that is obviously broken and does not take payments?

All previous years it has worked. TT 2023 is up to date (2024-03-13 latest update; this has been a problem since late February, not fixed in all the recent releases). Windows 10, 1920 resolution, no text scaling, so it's not anything resolution related.

Need thuis solved today in order to efile. Please provide a workaround, such as URL where to make payment online outside of the TT desktop program, so that it'll recognize that the extra $25 has been paid and will allow to do state efile.

If you still experience the issue, please call Customer Service and tell them you have a "block payment issues, possibly due to billing or an invalid license" and the agent should be able to help you. Here is how you reach customer service:  Turbo Tax Customer Service

I had the same error filing my own return.  I went BACK a couple screens, then back to File, and was successful, in TurboTax Desktop.

If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies, and open to a different place in the program, then go to FILE again.
