It looks like your in the free edition.  From that software you can not speak to a tax expert.

However, you can type any question here and we are have tax experts that can assist you.

We have CPA's, Lawyers and Enrolled Agents available on our team.

Since I filed through TurboTax, and I seen that my state tax had already been approved and sent, does TurboTax hold my state tax and send it to me along with my federal tax whenever it's approved and sent?

@kansasman83 TurboTax does not touch your refund in any way.  If you chose to pay your TurboTax fees using your federal refund, a third party bank helps with your federal refund.  But that bank does not touch your state refund in any way, nor does TurboTax touch your state refund.  Your state refund goes directly to you.   State and federal refunds do not arrive at the same time.  If your state's tax site says the refund was issued and you have not received it, you will have to contact the state.

I see. Well the state refund site says it has already been filed, approved and sent. When I go to the site it says it has been intercepted, but I called and it said I do not owe the state of Missouri. When I file for my taxes I always choose to have the employer take out all necessary taxes so that I don't have to owe anyone. I'm trying to find out who exactly intercepted my state tax.

@kansasman83 TurboTax never knows about offsets to your refund if you owe back taxes, child support, traffic fines, etc.   Only the state can tell you what happened.   If the state took your refund for a debt you owe, they will send you a letter, but the letter could take a couple of weeks to arrive.  You can call you state and see if they will tell you.  TurboTax cannot find that out for you.

Thanks. I think I finally know exactly what happened. I'm guessing the Feds intercepted my state tax refund because last year only $685 was paid in to the Feebs out of $14,550. I'm guessing around $1,450 should've been paid to the Feds. I'm gonna have to talk to my jobs payroll department.
