How do I get to form 1040-x in TurboTax?

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

As DoninGA indicated in the post abouve, wait until your tax return is processed before you prepare your amendment. Follow the steps below to start your amendment:

 

 For TurboTax Online, log in to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.”
