You can switch to a different version of TurboTax by using clear and start over to erase your current return and start from scratch. You can start over as long as you have not filed your taxes already, submitted payment, or deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund. Please note: TurboTax Free Edition is intended for taxpayers with very simple returns that can be filed on Form 1040 without any schedules.
