Hi, I got both a W-2 and a 1099-NEC for 2021. I did not make enough as an employee to have to file taxes,
but i did make enough as a self-employed person. I had a small business that i opened on november of 2021 and i just shut it down yesterday because it did not worked out. I will come back to work soon as an employee, but i want to file my taxes, how do i file and pay my taxes if i have both a W-2 and a 1099-NEC
thank you so much for answering my questions.
ALL of your income goes on the same tax return----the self-employment income and the W-2 income.
If you use online TurboTax you need Self-Employed. Or any version of the CD/download.
