You can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

I do not see a Tax Tool option on the online version. Just says Tax Home

Documents.

I haven’t filed yet but I want to view and review the docs before I e file. This has been a chore to try and figure out where I can review docs before filing. I’ve used this program for years and this is the first time I am totally frustrated. I called and get an automated voice that didn’t help at all.

thanks in advance.

@Larryparra

If you are on a screen that shows Hi (your name) let's keep working on your taxes! Click on any of the boxes to open and then on Review/Edit.  This will take you back to the 2021 online return.  Then Tax Tools will be available on the left side of the screen.

If you land on a screen that shows Way to go, (your name)! You filed your 2021 taxes -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2021 online tax return.

Go to print your return - you'll see the option to preview the return.  You can also save as a PDF and view that.
