Hi my tax return keeps being rejected about ACA Explanation but I think I fill out the form wrong. And the forum said that I’ll need 8962 completed need this removed

Because I didn’t have insurance

For some reason I couldn’t find these forms but I did see the Heathcare questionnaire by following the direction and clicking the delete link. But that didn’t help I refilled and got rejected twice

Exactly what is the reject message and the reject code?    Not having the 8962 form and 1095A form is probably the problem if the IRS received a 1095A form from the provider - they expect it to be on your tax return.

Did you have marketplace insurance last year and forgot to cancel it so you still have it?

If not market place insurance at all then you will have to paper file and attach a statement to that fact.  It IRS will not permit an e-file without the forms.

E-file reject F8962-070 happens when your return is missing Form 1095-A Health Insurance Marketplace Statement. The IRS compares the information you enter on your return with what they have in their database. When something's missing or mismatched, you get rejected.

First, find your 1095-A form. If you don’t have it, sign in to your healthcare.gov account and download it. Forms were mailed out beginning January 31.

Once you have your form:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax and select Fix my return
  2. On the Let's fix your returns and then refile screen, select Fix it now
  3. Select Continue on the Let's take a look at your return screen
  4. You’ll get taken back to the Keep going to refile your returns screen. From here, select Federal from the left menu
  5. Select Deductions & Credits from the top menu and scroll down to Medical. Select Show more
  6. Select Start or Revisit next to Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A)
  7. Answer the questions and continue through to enter the details from your Form 1095-A
  8. When you’re done, select File from the left menu and continue through to re-file your return
