Hello! I just finished and it says “You don’t have a refund or tax due. Congratulations, that’s great tax planning.” Am I obligated to even file this year? Thanks! :)

can't answer your question because there are numerous factors that are involved.

You appear to be using Online Premier.    What were the reasons you chose to use that particular edition, which is a more advanced edition?    What types of income and credits did you report in your return?  

 

Are  you sure you prepared the return correctly?   Have you reviewed your entries?

Yes, you have to tell the taxing authority what your situation is.
