Form 8995

Several years ago I door dashed for part of the year. I haven't sense and don't report any self employment income because I don't have any. When I try to file it says the IRS isn't accepting form 8995 yet, but I no longer have the self employment so why would I have to file that form? I've gone into Tools and deleted the form but it doesn't actually remove it.

You have to file an amended tax return for the year you were self-employed, report your SE income/expenses and therefore eligible for the  Qualified Business Income Deduction using Form 8995.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-already-filed/L4VjJ9BA2_US_en_US?uid=ld1n99kr
