Does TT no longer import from last year taxes? I have TT 2017 Premier installed from CD. TT has not gathered information from last year's(2016) tax return.

You can follow the steps in this FAQ to import your data.

Please note that once you've gone past the Transfer screens, you can't revisit them. If you need to re-transfer, start fresh with a new return.
