Does SDI get claimed under unemployment?

I received SDI but did not receive a 1099G. Do I report this income as unemployment?

No.  Do not enter Social Security as unemployment.    Social Security is reported on a SSA1099.   Social Security mails those forms out in January.  Do you have yours?   If not, you can get it from Social Security.

Go to www.ssa.gov  You have to create an account with a user name and password.

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

@xmasbaby0  I think OP is asking about SDI - State Disability Insurance.

Which state are you in?  If New Jersey the SDI will be included on your W2.  @richmoist
