The Federal threshold for prompting a 1099 is 200 transactions or more than $20,000 in earnings. What do you do if you're well below both of those thresholds?
You still need to report the income you received. For the self-employment income you can use section for Cash.

If you had even $400 of self-employment income you are required to file a tax return and pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare. And you do not need a 1099 to do that. You can enter the income even if you do not receive a document.
