Do I fill out a 1040 form to receive the two stimulus checks that were dispersed for 2020. If I didn't work in 2019 what do I use as my AGI?

What do I fill in for my AGI for 2019?

Yes, you do.  If you have met the requirements and did not receive any of the stimulus, you need to file a Recovery Rebate credit on 2020 Form 1040.  See steps below.

If you did not work and file a tax return in 2019, your 2019 AGI is zero.

In the TurboTax Online program,

  • After sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off
  • At the right upper corner, under Search, type in "stimulus" and Enter
  • Select Jump to stimulus
  • Follow prompts to answer the questions and enter the amounts.

My Mother was very ill last year and ended up filing two amended returns.  I have tried AGIs from all three.  She also did not e-file so I do not know the pin number.  Can you help?

If you have tried 0 or 1 and did not work, I will suggest you to print out your tax forms and paper file to the IRS.  To see explanations, click here:
