Can you help me find a message on the site? A Turbo Tax rep emailed regarding my return. The email said to sign in to get message. I don't see it. How do I find it?

The IRS says I owe back ALL the ACA subsidy received in 2019. This is $6,000.00. A Turbo Tax expert sent an email with information that might help. The email said to sign into site to read message. When I do that, I can't find the message. Where would it be?

To see messages you received from a tax expert through TurboTax Live:

  1. Open or continue your return.
  2. Select the floating Live help button in the bottom right corner.
  3. In the panel that opens, select See my Contact History.
  4. This opens My contact history, where you'll find all the messages you've received from your tax expert, including the date and type of message.
  5. Select a message to see more info, like the question you asked, the tax expert's response, or details from their review of your return.

Thanks for your reply. I opened my return for 2020 but didn't see the "floating Live help button in the bottom right hand corner." There is a talk-to-an-expert link (a square graphic of a torso and head), when I click that the site offers me unlimited help if I want to upgrade (pay for an upgrade). I just want to retrieve the info already sent. But still can't locate it. Am I missing something? I'm using Chrome. Would a different browser help?

If you do not currently have TurboTax Live, you will need to upgrade your account in order to retrieve the message. You can follow the instructions here to upgrade your account.
