Can't E-file after Idenity Protection PIN entered in Turbotax

A friend of mine is having a problem e-filing his Tax Returns electronically after entering his IRS Identity Protection PIN. Has anyone encountered that problem and if so, how was it resolved? He has called the Turbo Tax Customer Service Phone# but the individual he dealt with could not figure out how to solve the problem.

Did your friend enter their IP PIN in the correct section?

To enter the IP PIN:

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Scroll down to Other Return Info
On Identity Protection PIN, click the start button
