Can self-employment fees be removed from TurboTax? I filed self-employed for 2019 but not for 2020 and it's still saying I owe for self-employed.

Try going to forms and delete Schedule C, it should stop asking you for it

Do you mean the Self Employed version?  To go back to the Free Edition or a lower version you can try to clear and start over
