I have the same problem. using MacBook ....need answer now!
Problem resolved by going to System Preferences/Display and clicking on Scaled, then the third block for smaller print. This worked perfectly.
WIN 10 being around for more than 3 years and XP was obsolete longer than that. It is not acceptable that software not working in WIN operating system. It is 2019!
I have the same problem. using MacBook ....need answer now!. Two calls into their support, each over 20 minutes and both times support person could not figure out answer, and worst let, could not process payment over phone. Looks like will have to file by mail.

I did not put it on my credit card. I had it deducted from my refund. Then I contacted customer service for a refund. Spent about an hour on the phone but eventually they figured how to issue refund
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately cannot take from refund, since owe. It is amazing to me, that they have not immediately taken care of problem, since losing money with frustrated customers deciding to mail in.
On a Mac... I did what another suggested about Display settings AFTER I did a reboot.
Save tax file... Reboot Mac... Go to System Preferences/Display and clicked on Scaled... Select the third block for smaller print.... Back into TT... Try to file again... Got message again but this time clicking Try Again worked... And I actually got the message a few times, but now clicking Try Again kept getting me further until it worked.
This worked. On PC, just keep pressing "Try Again"...over and over. On 20x it worked.

I had this same problem. Tried many times. Finally I closed TurboTax after saving file. Changed the display scaling to 100%, then rebooted computer. I am using Windows 10 Pro on a new laptop 2 n 1. Using in laptop mode. After restarting TurboTax the payment window worked, sent me to TurboTax online and I paid using credit card. Then returned to tax return and e-file was completed. At least I hope so. TurboTax said it was sent. I put a call into Support, but they have not called me back as yet. I had to use this same procedure to have TurboTax boot up from the Update window when I initially opened the program. Seems like these problems should be fixed by now. Heads Up TurboTax programers.
Thank you SO much Joyce!!!! I have been frustrated for 2 weeks. Your advice worked like a charm!👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for posting this as it’s been a huge frustration for me this year. Your solution worked whe no one at TT could figure it out.
The link provided is of course broken, the tool support was attempting to provide would not load, so after spending several hours trying to pay Intuit, the easiest solution was to give up print and mail the tax return. If you are not expecting a refund. The simplest solution is to print an mail it.

@TaxingKimberly
I was unable to pay for state taxes to be efiled. I entered my address and credit card correctly. Customer support advised that I use the following address: 123 Main Street; and pay as a guest. It did work. Hope it works for you.
Thank you for updating the forum with a solution that worked for you. @Alejen
