Can i file online without repurchasing a cd because i have one but no cd player

You don't need to use the Online version.  You can download the program using the License Code from your CD.  You can still efile your return.

No, the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions and the TurboTax online editions are separate programs with different price points.

 

You can download the TurboTax software if you do not have a CD drive for the CD that you purchased.
