Can I file head of household if my child graduated in May but I paid for her rent from June to Aug?

Hi. My child graduated from college in May. While she was doing internship from June to August, I still paid her rent and some other expenses (more than half of her cost). Can my filing status still be 'head of household'? Are those 3 months still be 'months living with you'?

If your child lived with you through June, then you could file as head of household assuming you meet the other requirements listed in the links below.

Thank you, Paula. Her college was in a different state. She interned in that state after she graduated in May so she didn't live with me in the same house. even though I paid for her rent. Ya, everything else I am qualified. Just these 'months lived with me'.
