Can I download the 2020 turbotax software and if so how many filings does that come with.

Go to this TurboTax website to purchase and download one of the 2020 desktop editions - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

The desktop editions come with 5 free federal tax return e-files per license.  Any tax returns beyond 5 can be printed and mailed.

You can install the Desktop CD/Download program if you have a full Windows or Mac computer with a newer operating system.  The Desktop program can do unlimited returns and efile 5.  The rest you have to print and mail.

Deluxe and above include one free state program download to prepare returns for the same state.  Then each state return is 19.99 to efile (goes up to 24.99 in March).  Or you can print and mail state for free. If you need to also file a state return for a different state it is 39.99 to buy an additional state program.
