If you use one of the online Live versions you can have your return reviewed (not "signed" by) by a CPA. That service is not provided for users of the CD/download.

if i pay fee to lock in do i need to file now? can i complete my tax return now and pay fee but not file until april 10 in case i get corrected 1099s?
Yes you can pay early to lock in the early prices then efile later. Just say you want to print and it will make you pay.

Paying the TurboTax online account fees does not mean that you have to file the tax return now or any time in the future. But be aware once you pay the fee and then you decide that you made a mistake in paying the fee there is a good possibility that you will not be able to get a refund for the fee.

I only meant that some users have second thoughts after paying the TurboTax account fees and want to cancel their tax returns and use another service other than TurboTax because they found out it may be cheaper somewhere else.
Yes, you can pay the account fees and then have a CPA review the tax return at your convenance.
once the CPA reviews the tax return can we still make changes to it or is it final? and do we have to submit immediately after they review?
Also, can i purchase turbotax downloadable software from amazon and then have CPA review for a fee after using the desktop software and inputting the numbers?
