Bought TurboTax Deluxe 2021, downloaded "TurboTax 2021.app"

As a TurboTax Advantage customer, I have the following download available  today (Saturday, December 4, 2021):

 

TURBOTAX DESKTOP ADVANTAGE DELUXE TAX YEAR 2021 MAC DOWNLOAD

 

However, when I download the file, it installs "TurboTax 2021.app". In previous years, the installed app was "TurboTax Deluxe 2020.app", etc. Was I provided with the wrong download product? Or, is the Deluxe product now delivered in an app without the word "Deluxe" in the app name?

 

I've tried the special help service for Advantage customers, but it requires that I sit on a phone call, which I'd prefer not to do.

Install the file and open the program to see if it is the 2021 version.

And to see if it is the DELUXE version.  Probably ok.

@macuser_22  Do you know about this?  Mac download doesn't indicate the version?  Can you ask the mod?

I thought I answered this  before.  Thay seem to not be naming the app itself with the version any more and  that really does not matter since you can only have one TurboTax 2021 version app installed at one time so the name is irrelevant - it is just "TurboTax 2021" to keep it short and simple.

 

Just use the top menu bar "About TurboTax: and it will tell you the current version installed if you do not remember what you installed.
