After filing, I received ~$3000 from my federal refund. When I checked TurboTax today, the federal refund amount has increased to ~$4000. What should I do? Why is this?

Are you saying that you have already received a $3000 federal refund or was that just what the system showed as your anticipated refund? Did you possibly file a state return after federal for which you are receiving a refund as well? Just want to gain some more clarity so that we may better assist.

I've already received my $3000 federal refund (which is what I anticipated), but my State was rejected. When I went to revisit my state it showed an anticipated $4000 for my federal refund.

I appreciate the help!

Did you have any changes due to the unemployment? If this is the case and it only involves unemployment you should not amend your Federal.

Please see the following information in the TurboTax Article below:

If you've already filed your return, the IRS says you don’t need to do anything to take advantage of this benefit. They've assured us there's no faster way to get any additional money you are owed. In fact, amending your return could delay your payment.

How do I claim the new unemployment benefits in TurboTax?

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,

AND, to find your AGI next year.
