2021 return business meals 100% or 50%

I am working on 1099 return for 202. For business related meals at a restaurant (meeting with clients) and meals while traveling, should I use meals 50% or meals 100%? When I use meals 100% TurboTax gives a warning about audit.

Use meals 50% for business-related dinners at a restaurant and meals traveling.

Meals 100% is for office parties, outings, or something that benefits all employees.

Is the temporary allowance for business meals provided by a restaurant not 100% if incurred in 2021?

This is true - all the way through the end of 2022. But there are limits and you need to read up on what you are allowed at a per-diem rate.
