2017 and 2018 can't be efiled they must be printed and mailed.

if you never filed (the return being rejected) you have nothing to amend.

What exactly is happening?  Did someone call you on the phone?  It's a scam.  The IRS never calls taxpayers, they only send letters.

Did the IRS send you a letter?  What is it asking for?  What is the letter number (LTR or CP number)?

Did you file tax returns for past years?

@Arnaz100 So  very sorry for your loss.

Let's try to figure this out.

You said     "IRS  needs proof of income 2017 and 2018 .I thought Turbo was paid  to send it"

Do you mean that you prepared tax returns for 2017 and 2018 but the IRS says they did not get the returns?  Or that you did not pay your tax due for those years?  If they are saying you did not pay, then your proof that you paid would be your own bank or credit card records from then.  Do you have proof that you paid 2017 and/or 2018?

Or how about this....check in your online account.  Does the account (s) show that your returns were accepted?  Does it say "accepted?'  Or does it say something else--like "rejected," "ready to mail" or "printed?"

If it says anything other than "accepted" the return was not filed or might have been rejected and you did not notice and fix it to re-file it.  It can still be filed, but you have to print sign and mail it.  2017 and 2018 returns cannot be e-filed.

Do you know how to find your account(s)?

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
