1099-NEC is not transfered from 2021 to 2022 return

I don't see 2021 1099-NEC transferred to 2022 return.

Did you file your 2021 using Turbo Tax online or Turbo Tax desktop?

Of course I filed 2021 using Turbo Tax desktop! The photo is from 2021 and 2022 next to each other right now. The post submission process asked me all details about my software and I selected Desktop and Mac.

The topic title clearly says "transferred". Why are you asking about transfer again? Does anyone really think that user expects something to be automagically transferred without proper transfer process?

If you are using the Download/Desktop version, you will need to make sure you have updated your software.  To manually update for Mac, please see this Help Article.

After you have completed the above steps, navigate to the 1099-NEC section to see if the 2021 issuer is still there. If that does not work, you will need to re-enter your 1099-NEC.

Desktop checks for update and force updates itself every time in launched.

I posted here for Intuit DEV and/or QA to verify the problem which, according to my records, existed for many years.

Unless it is attempted to reproduce by Intuit QA or DEV there is no need to reply here with general suggestions.

Please address this for next tax year.
