On my Schedule A 1040 form, my property tax amount that I paid was listed on line 6 instead of line 7, is that correct?

It depends.

As you can see, Schedule A Line 6 reports Real estate taxes and Schedule A Line 7 reports Personal property taxes. They are both property taxes but different types. If you already filed your tax return(s), it should not matter too much since both lines are included on Schedule A Line 9 and the total itemized deductions on Schedule A Line 29.
