why enter zeros?

if you are on social security your medicare and any Part D deducted from the checks would flow to medical expenses.

we have no access to the return to see where the 47K is coming from

so go back over your entries.

Something is very wrong.  You need to go back through the medical deduction section and delete all of your entries.  You don't need to enter zeroes for anything.  If you didn't have it just ignore it or leave it blank.  Something that you have typed there is causing you problems.

There is a glitch in entering a valid 1095-A Form with legitimate 0.00 values in the B column. This creates an”Oops something has gone wrong” message. This then creates an 8962 Form with $3,944 in the monthly column A and $519 in the monthly column C resulting in a net $41k error.  When I called technical service they admitted the error but refused to give me a refund even though I have an inaccurate unfilable return now

Did that. All blank entries did nothing to change the result. There is a bug in the column B 0.00 value recognition.

For any month that you had Marketplace insurance and have an amount in column A, then the amount in column B can't be zero, even if the provider of the form put zero on your form.

You must enter the Second Lowest Cost Silver Plan (SLCSP). The SLCSP is the second-lowest priced health insurance plan in the Silver category that was available when you applied for insurance at Healthcare Marketplace.

You can use the Health coverage tax tool to figure to get the SLCSP if it is not on your Form 1095-A.

For any months you didn't have insurance, you can leave the columns blank.

See this article for more information about the Premium Tax Credit.

TurboTax will automatically fill out Form 8962 once you enter your Form 1095-A.
