It keeps asking me to Fill out "Worksheet G" for my NJ taxes. This seems to be a form related to owning a home. I do not own a home, why can I not get rid of this form?

I already used "Tax Tools" to delete the form but all that accomplished was erasing the entries I made in an attempt to make the form go away.  It still wants me to fill this form out even though I am 99% positive it does not apply to me.

Tenants in NJ can qualify for a property tax deduction/credit equal to 18% of their rent paid, which is why you must complete this worksheet.

New Jersey Worksheet G is for the property tax credit or deduction. As tax guru @SweetieJean mentions, It also applies to renters because New Jersey considers a portion of property tax paid to be part of your rent.

Here's what to do you do not qualify as a renter or homeowner:

  1. In New Jersey go to About the Homestead Rebate and Property Tax Deduction. Tap Continue.
  2. Say No on Eligibility - Property Tax Deduction or Credit

I selected no and it continues to pop up. Is this a bug?

solved this by selecting use for that option and entering renters amount as 0 . it will then prompt that you do not qualify and let you continue on
