Child support is not entered on a tax return.  It is not deductible for the person paying support, nor is it taxable for the person receiving child support.

Child support expenses are not deductible on either the Federal or the Georgia state return.

According to IRS rules, child support received doesn't count as taxable income, nor can you deduct any child support payments you make.

A handful of states have rules that differ from the IRS. If your state is one of them, TurboTax will cover that when you prepare your state tax return. See this help article for more information.
