I accidentally clicked I own a home but it still ended up telling me a standard deduction is better. How do I change the owning a home part?

You don't need to change your answer to that question; it won't have any effect on your tax return.  The only way to ''uncheck'' the home ownership question is to start over, and there is no reason to do that.  If you are asked about paying a mortgage, just answer no to skip those questions.   They only apply if you itemize deductions.   You can skip past all of the Your Home topics and move on to the You and Your Family section.
