After entering deductions TurboTax recommended itemized deductions, but then in final review of the form they used standard deductions - how to change this ?

When wrapping up the tax breaks it says itemized is the better option, but then didn't use that on the tax forms when i look at final review.

Please try to change it first to the Standard Deduction and then back to the Itemized Deduction to see if that will help:

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account
  2. Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  3. Click “Deductions &Credits” on the top
  4. Scroll all the way down and click the "Wrap up tax breaks" button
  5. Continue until the "Based on what you just told us, itemizing your deductions is best for you" or "Based on what you just told us, the Standard Deduction is best for you" screen.
  6. Select "Change my deduction"

If this does not help then you might need more detailed help. Please see What is the TurboTax phone number?
