In my Turbotax 2019, I finished, printed and mailed Fed return because it is too late to e-file.
But NY Forms IT-203, 196 and 182 are missing. In the table listing these forms, it says "Ready soon".
When will I get those forms so that I can finish? And how will I know they are ready?
( I do not live in NY, but earned income while working there in 2019 and they took a lot of tax.)
State tax forms can become available for filing any time between December and late February, depending on the state and the tax form. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for form availability and dates:

Does your response apply to 2019 Turbotax? Seems odd if users have wait over a year.
The release dates listed online for form release dates only applies to the 2020 income tax year filing. It does not apply to prior year returns.
Since you are preparing your tax return for 2019, you would need to use the desktop version of the program. All of the forms you mentioned are available.
I recommend reviewing your input to ensure the forms are being populated based upon your input. You can also review your forms or make sure the forms are selected when you print your return when you print your tax return. You can select Print specific forms under the print menu if the update below does not update your software.

I had received an email notifying me that the forms are ready. So, Idid as follows:
On line - Check for updates, and I got "Your software is update" message, but my NY state form screen still indicates "Ready soon".
When I tried to print NY forms only, the screen says "Your New York return is currently unavailable to view, print or download because some of the forms haven't been finalized yet."
PLease advise.

This morning I received an email from TurboTax Customer Solutions <turbotax_customersolutions@intuit.com>. I responded and it did not go through. Apparently someone at Intuit emailed me from the address that does not accespt my email.
Anyway, I again followed the instruction in the email, which is the same as yours, and I got the same result.
This issue is not resolved. Please advise of workable solution ASAP.
I am still waiting for your reply. Please do not reply with the same boiler plate answer as I have received already. They did not work.

Following your suggestion, I called and spoke with an assistant. He could not solve the problem and the phone was disconnected. He then later sent me an email advising me to do a manual update https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/updating/help/manually-update-turbotax-for-windows-soft[product key removed]e-premier-home-business/00/26041.
I tried the manual update multiple times. It did not work. In fact the referenced page states "We don't offer manual updates for TurboTax state software". So, this should not have been recommended.
Eventually, I tried to download NY tax forms anew, since updating did not work as I have reported. This option did not offer a free download even if I have already paid for the original that includes one free state form, which in my case NY forms.
So, I paid $49.53, downloaded it and it worked. NY forms are updated in my TT.
This is obviously software problem and I request a refund of the payment.
