Is there an issue with the check box not being available to click? NC State Forms Retired Member of the United States Uniformed Services (D-400 Sch S, line 21)

This is a review item that needs fixing to permit the filing of the taxes.

One thing to try is to NOT try to fix it in the review.

1) Go back to the 1099-R entry of that form in the federal section.  Edit that 1099-R, and on one the pages AFTER the main form, you can select a checkbox to indicate it was for a military retirement.  (Note that the NC distribution amount must be the value of box 2a...should be the same as box 1).  This is only for a DFAS 1099-R...not for a TSP distribution (Though, some few TSPs may be eligible under special conditions).

2) then got thru the full NC Q&A from start to finish...there should be a page in there where you confirm the amount that was the military retirement distribution,....go thru the rest of it, and all the reviews again.

I think it would go thru  OK then.
