I work in DC but live in VA. I marked that I live in one state and work in another however my W2 does not show that DC witheld any money from me. How do I proceed?

The W2 did not show that DC withheld any money from me, but now on my turbo tax it is telling me to file by mail since I have no further information to provide (because they did not withold taxes).

VA and DC have a reciprocal tax agreement....when you were employed in DC and filled out your employment forms indicating that you were a VA resident, the DC employer withheld no DC taxes, because DC can't tax a VA resident working in DC due to the VA-DC agreement

So you go back to the Personal Info page and remove DC as another state you worked in.....for state tax purposes, you only worked in VA and owe no DC taxes on that...then go delete the DC tax forms.

IF you can, see if that employer will withhold VA taxes for you...but maybe they are doing so already.
