I added Miscellaneous Income but now I realize I should not have. However, there is no way to edit or delete this value.
On the Income and Expenses screen, scroll down to Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C and select Edit/Add
Revisit the section where you added the income.
Click the garbage can next to the entry.
I could not get to the screen that you indicated. Can you indicate step-by-step from opening the current tax return?
With TurboTax Online open,
I am using the online version. When I click on revisit under the section other income not already reported on a w-2 or form 1099. There is no place to click edit/add. Do you have any other suggestions?
The entry I am trying to fix shows up on 1040 line 1 and is marked HSH
This entry is for income that was earned as a household employee. This would have been reported by you as other income since it wasn't reported on a W-2. This would show up on 1040-EZ on line 1.

I'm having same issue!! It used to be easy to change or delete entries. I, too, want to delete/change the amount I entered for Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A and the "Edit/Add" button simply takes me to another list....NOT to a place to edit/change the amount. Grrrr.
It's now February of 2022. I'm unable to finish my tax return using online TT Deluxe, because I'm unable to delete the amount entered in error under INCOME, Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A. What to do? If anyone replies, let me know. Thanks.

What income entered in the Miscellaneous Income section are you trying to delete? I entered income in three separate places in that section and have access to everything to add, edit or delete.
UPDATE: I used Tax Tools in the left margin to Clear my entries mid-stream and start over with a new 1040.
This is incredibly frustrating. I am joining others in complaining about this. I accidentally double entered the amount on my 1099-Misc to the section under other income. Now there is no way to delete it!! I have "revisited" several time and clicked no on everything, but my original entry remains. Unfortunately, no one from Intuit Turbo Tax seems to monitor these comments, so it's just spitting into the wind.

If you are trying to remove a 1099-MISC and when you click revisit, it is not allowing you to delete the form, follow these steps:
That didn't work. It got rid of my 1099-MISC info, but the miscellaneous income in the last income section is still there.
I did start and new return and filed, but I kept the previous forms to see if there was a solution. This didn't help.
To clarify, when you started over the new return and filed, did the miscellaneous income still remain?
I entered all information again, so didn’t make the same mistake. I entered the info from the 1099-Misc in the appropriate place and did not also add it to miscellaneous income in the last earnings section.
To clarify, is the issue resolved and the income is now reported correctly and you are able to file?
Turbo tax took my wages from box 1 of my w2 and put it under misc income on my state return. I also can not remove it and now my state return is saying I have double the income.
I tried going put and picking up again but nothing works.
Seems to be a system error.
I only have 1 w2, no other forms or situations.
Which return are we editing? I have no entry there.
Turbo tax pulled my income to the worksheet on my state return. I have no misc income or 1099
Were you able to solve your issue?
If not, please call TurboTax Customer service. Here is a link: Turbo Tax Customer Service
No it was not resolved. Because it has my income duplicated as if I reported on a 1099, my income is double on my state return
Type '1099-Misc' in the Search area, then 'Jump to 1099-misc'.
At the 1099-Misc Summary Page, if you have an incorrect entry, you can Delete it.
You said previously that 'Turbo tax took my wages from box 1 of my w2 and put it under misc income on my state return'. Since there is no way this should happen, someone needs to look at your return to see what happened.
Since we can't see your return in this forum, you need to connect with Tech Support, who can do so.
This worked for me, after 2 - 3 hours of trying to find it in the MISC Income section. I talked to a TT “specialist”, she was very nice, but she didn’t know how to fix it. She put on hold, then disconnected me, and disconnected our share session….not good. The trick for me is that you can delete a form but you can also delete the entry. I originally was trying to delete 1040 schedule 1 and it wouldn’t delete, but went back in and found the specific entry and was able to delete it. This is a well documented flaw with TT and they should fix it, it’s pretty bad.
