This website give two zip codes for Camp Pendleton: 92054 and 92055. Try the other one.

I will try 92054 because 92055 is the zip code I used and turbo tax said it was wrong. Thanks!

OK. If TurboTax takes the 92054, then I would ask you to go to your Base postmaster and ask him/her if your mail will get to you with the 92054 - just to double check. If Yes, then you're set.

If the postmaster/mistress says, "No, you won't get your mail with this 92054 zip code", then look at this IRS webpage about a change of address form, print it, fill it out with the "correct" zip code (i.e. the one the Base post office actually uses) and mail it to the IRS.

92054 and 92055 turbo tax is not accepting. Is there any other zipcode for camp pendelton that turbo tax will accept?

Where is the program refusing to accept 92054 and 92055?

At the end on the final review. After I finished state and it is the final review. Turbo Tax  says we can efile but there is one more item that needs to be fixed. When I choose fix my return, it takes me to the zip code and it tells that the zip code is wrong and to enter zip code in xxxxx-xxxx. I entered the [social security number removed] and tried [social security number removed] and it says the zip code is wrong.

When that screen comes up (i.e. the one that asks for a different zip code), is there any indication what the zip code entry is for?

Is it for billing, for your personal mailing address, registration, a tax form you entered or something else?

As long as a new, acceptable zip code does not affect your personal mailing address or ability to process payment, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Please update this post - I will monitor.

It is for mailing & physical address. It was updated in my info as well but for some reason TT is not accepting 92054 or 92055

There aren't a lot of good options here, since 92054 and 92055 are the only zip codes listed for Camp Pendleton, CA  in the USPS zip code look-up tool (see below).

One suggestion - use another reliable address (family member?). The IRS asks for this address in order to send you any correspondence regarding your return.

If you don't have an alternate (and reliable) mailing address, then you will have to print and file your return by mail.  How do I print and mail my return in TurboTax Online?

(Sorry I couldn't offer a better solution - Semper Fi from the 3/2!)

I just used my mother's address in Texas and it worked fine. Thank you though for all your help!
