I had collectible sales of baseball cards and TurboTax is not generating the 28% Rate Gain Worksheet. How do I get TurboTax to complete the worksheet?

Per the IRS Schedule D instructions, I believe these sales require me to complete the worksheet and then populate Line 18 of Schedule D.

You may not be taxed at the 28% Capital Gain rate.  TurboTax will prepare the worksheet and Schedule D for you.

When you View/Print/Save your return, request 'all forms and worksheets' if you want to review the calculations.

This is not a helpfu answer.  I have the same problem with the gain on my collectibles.  I complete the entry in the 1099-B screen, but the sale is not showing up on line 18 of Schedule D and Turbotax is using the Qualified Dividents and CG Tax Worksheet instead of the Schedule D Tax Worksheet.  How do I correct for this?

Thank you for sharing this information. Our team is working to resolve a situation where the Code C might be missing on the 1099-B, so that it does not flag as gains from a collectible and generate the 28% Gain Worksheet.  We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
