I finished and it says I entered more w2 on state than on federal. I entered the same info, the my state wages are more than federal. Is this what they’re referring to?

This can happen.  In some states, items that can be deducted from federal taxable wages (such as contributions to certain types of retirement accounts) are not deducted from state wages, so this is not entirely unheard of.

Thanks, it won’t let me actually file tho until I  fix this, but changing the federal to match the state results in paying 900 more.

Not only is this not unheard of. it happens all the time.

did you enter the codes for adjustments that are on your W-2.?

maybe that will make TurboTax happy.

maybe you should delete the W-2 and re-enter it.
