How do i fix my state taxes,

Can you please clarify what is your issue? 

I need help with my state taxes it says something about my principal address and I went back a it won't let me put in my address for the state taxes

All of your input should be made in the federal interview section of the program.

I recommend reviewing your input there under the My Info tab located in the black panel on the left side of the screen.

Also, review your input on your State interview section to ensure you don't have a different entry or if you need check a box confirming your mailing address.

1. Select State in the black panel on the left hand side of your screen when logged into TurboTax.  
2. This will take you to a screen titled Let's get your state taxes done right.  Click continue on this screen.
3. You will see the screen titled Status of your state returns.  Select Edit to the right of your state and review your entries.

I filed my state tax but can’t seem to finish it keeps saying amended how do I get in to fix

If you have already filed your state return, and it has been accepted, you would have to prepare an amended return to make any changes.  Please see this TurboTax Help article for details:  I need to amend my state return - TurboTax

If you have filed your federal return and now need to prepare your state, you can follow the instructions below:

1. Sign in to TurboTax.
2. Under Your tax returns & documents, select Show, and then select 2020.
3. Now select Add a state (this reopens your return).
4. Select State from the left menu (on mobile devices, tap in the upper-left corner to open the menu).
5. On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue and follow the instructions.

My state taxes were rejected yet my federal taxes were accepted im in Oh. Please help

My Ohio state taxes were rejected yet my federal taxes were accepted. I have 0 income and only filed to get my stimulus check. 

Once the IRS accepts the Federal, you can then resubmit your State.
