How do I add a California Schedule CA (540) form to my state return online?

It is telling me there is an error SCHCA/NR-064 540 Part 1 Section C line 22. i do not see an error.

It is telling me that I need to update the latest version 39.0508. Unable to do.

Error is that California software needs an update and there is no way to update it I paid $20 to E file it so this is very frustrating

California tax form will not get past rejection due to an update missing for which there is no way to get it

You can manually update the software by following the instructions here
