Do I need to send the check or do payment myself if I choose to file the tax return documents my self?

I have to choose "mail the file" instead of e-file for both federal and state tax, because I have to add an 8833 form in the federal filing. But I realized I have entered my bank account info and set a payment date for the tax return (state tax). Thus, when I mailed my tax return docs, do I need to include the check or do the payment myself? Or will Turbotax arrange the payment automatically as mentioned in Step 2 of the "File" process? Wanna make sure I won't be double charged.

No.   If you mailed your tax returns then nothing you entered for direct debits was transmitted electronically.  The state does not have that information.   TurboTax will never know how, when or even if you paid your tax due.   You will not be paying twice.

Yes make the payment yourself.  TurboTax never arranges payments for you.

Thank you so much for the reply @xmasbaby0 ! Just to make sure I got you correctly, do you mean I should do the payment myself and TurboTax will not arrange the payment for me?
