Do I file state returns for each state, DC, MD and VA as a rideshare driver (Uber, Lyft, Grubhub) in the DMV area?

Because Maryland, DC, and Virginia have a reciprocity agreement, you pay income tax only to the State you *live* in even when you work in another.  So if you live in DC, MD, or VA, you will only need to file a return for the state that you live in.

However, if you don't live in one of those three states, you should check out this link:  Which States Have Reciprocal Agreements?
