Did Not E-File State but Filing Instructions Say I Did

I e-filed my Federal Return and want to mail in my Colorado return.  I printed out the return papers and the state return instructions state that I shouldn't mail my state return because it's been e-filed.     I had clicked on the radial button "Do not e-file my state return now, I'll do it later" when filing my Federal.  Has my state been e-filed?  How can I verify so I do not dupicate by sending in a paper copy?  ( This is via TurboTax Premier).

Are you using the Desktop program?  For the Desktop program you have to check the filing status inside the program.  Open your return and go up to the top black menu bar first item

File > Electronic Filing > Check Electronic Filing Status

And if you efiled check your emails.  When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.  And check your spam folder for them.

@VolvoGirl   Thanks.  I am using Desktop.  Status says Federal and the only Accepted email I have received is Federal.  However, the Colorado State returns that I printed out say "Income Tax Declaration for Online Electronic Filing" and " Do not mail this form to the IRS or the Colorado Department of Revenue".  I also noticed a check box that has an X if the transmitter did not prepare the tax return (I did my own) and that I need to include forms that I do not have.   So now I'm thinking there is a glitch somewhere in TurboxTax.

It probably means to not mail that one specific form, not the whole return.

This reply does not answer the question asked. For 2023 it appears that Turbo Tax no longer provides the option to mail your state return. The radio ball choice is to either e-file now or e-file later (at a cost). The option to mail  our state return (at no additional cost) was provided up through 2022. Did Turbo Tax take that option away from users?
