I am trying to file my D.C. taxes for 2019 in TT Home and Biz - the software updates fine, and my federal forms are ready to file, but my D.C. form D-40 indicates "This form has not been approved for release at this time" Checking for updates confirms that the software is up-to-date. Checking for any errors in state section, the message is that the government is still working on the forms, and the status is "Ready Soon", yet the TT site indicates that the forms are available.
This has been going on for several weeks, and I am starting to get concerned about the delay.
What am I doing wrong?
Manual updates are for the federal forms only - those are successfully updating automatically every I launch Turbo Tax. It is the D.C. (state) forms that TT is reporting as not being finalized in my application. I am not able to find a manual update for state forms.
