On State review, TT says it found 16 items that need review. It brought up form 2210AL and said I must enter Federal tax deduction. First of all, this form doesn't even ask for that information, and there's no reason it should. But I entered it because there was no other way to get off the page. Then it took me to the next item to review, which was exactly the same thing over again. I entered it again. Next item, same thing. It is counting down the items, but it's the same on over an over. The form has to do with underpayment penalty, and according to the form I don't owe an underpayment penalty. So I want to either remove the form or go back and answer my questions differently so it won't be included. But I can find no way to do either. If I click on "live help" TT wants to charge me for it. I should not have to pay for a glitch in their program. I can't set up a call because I'm currently living on a ship in Africa (volunteer nurse.) There must be some way to do this or to get technical help.
I recommend deleting the form. In fact, you could delete the whole state. Most states are pretty quick to redo and AL is one of them. However, AL changed some laws in February that are not yet in the program. If you are affected, you may want to wait to file your state return or you may want to file now and amend later.
Choose your method of deletion:
Find out about the ARPA Tax Relief – Alabama Department of Revenue which includes:
What types of Federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds might qualify me for an increased federal income tax deduction?
If you did not claim any of the above credits on your federal return, then you are not eligible for the enhanced Alabama Federal Income Tax Credit.
An automatic six-month extension is granted until October 17, 2022, for 2021 individual income tax returns. However, there is no extension for payments.

I actually found these instructions just before reading your reply, and it worked. I was able to delete the form, then Turbo Tax prompted me again to answer the original question, which I answered differently. So the problem is solved and I am so relieved. Thank you so much.
