Why is my federal return asking me to give detail about my spouse's 1099-NEC when I am a Single filer and I do not have a spouse?

I do not have a 1099-NEC form for myself this year (although I did last year), yet TurboTax is asking me for that information *as well as* asking me for my SPOUSE'S 1099-NEC info even though I don't have these documents and I don't even have a spouse. I double checked and I am listed as a Single filer. This seems like a glitch in their system. Has anyone else had this problem?

TurboTax is asking for your 1099-NEC because you had one last year.  You should be able to 'Skip' this section, or indicate '.. have no 1099-NEC to enter'.

Why TurboTax is asking for your Spouse's info is an issue if you are filing as Single.  Were you married last year?  If so, did you Sign In to TurboTax using the same login as when you filed together?

If that's the case, you need to open a new TurboTax Account for just you.

If not, and you verified that all your entries in the Personal Info section are correct, you may want to Clear and Start Over
