Form 1099-G for unemployment compensation that you receive from your state department of labor or unemployment.

Form SSA-1099 for your Social Security benefits that you received from the Social Security Administration - https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/replacement-SSA-1099.html

You should get a 1099G for unemployment and a SSA-1099 for Social Security.

You can  type  unemployment   into the search box at the top of your return and hit find.  It should give you a Jump To link to take you right to it.

Or Enter a 1099G for unemployment under

Federal on left

Wages & Income at top

Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button

 Social Security

Enter a SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM or RRB-1099  under

Federal Taxes on the left side or top

Wages and Income

Then scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security

Then the second line - Social Security (SSA-1099. RRB-1099) - click the Start or Revisit  button
