I filed an extension, paid my taxes, but need to clear and start over

I tried filing my taxes on April 15 late at night, but kept getting an error. I ended up filing an extension and paying my taxes. I would like to clear TurboTax and start over, but I don't know how. Would appreciate any help.

Thanks, @rjs - unfortunately, I did pay the taxes owed at the time (which the article says "You can erase your return and start over as long as you haven't submitted payment") so I am unsure how to proceed.

Did you just pay the tax due or also pay the Turbo Tax fees?  The tax due payment doesn’t matter.  If you paid the Turbo Tax fees you can’t clear and start over.  You will have to go through and manually change or delete anything that’s wrong.
