I am an independent life insurance agent, and I'm not sure how to report my earnings from this year. Google says I need to fill out an IRS Form 1099. Idk how to do that

You can report your earnings as an independent life insurance agent as Self-Employment Income, whether your company(s) issued you a 1099-NEC or not.

Type 'Schedule C' in the Search area, then 'Jump to schedule c' to get to this section.  Or, find Self-Employment Income in the Wages & Income section.

Here's more info on Reporting Self Employment Income.  Be sure to keep good records of your income and expenses.

It's asking me for my 1099-K. Is there anyway around this?

Yes, you can delete the 1099-K form that was started.   How to delete forms
